You know, Rachel's right. What she's said are mostly all what I think of too. I know that debrief had crushed our high and happy spirits and our billy-banja-ing mood, but at least we learned something from this event. Now we know our mistakes, and we can improve on them. That's how we can grow. So yeah we can and we will do better next time! :D Cheer up everyone! Here's the group picture! It's a little blur though!
Oh yes our sec 2 outing!! I shall now post about that. The outing, that actually had been planned for like 26 people, consisted of 7 sec 2 cedar guides! At first there was like Beatrice, Celest, Charlene, Rabiatul, Sabrina and me. Then after that Hazirah joined us. It was really funny. We were playing at the beach, then Charlene volunteered to be covered with sand. So we covered her fully except for her head. but she kept shaking trying not to laugh and there was a lot of cracks here and there! hahaha! And we gave her a pretty little mermaid tail at her feet! Too bad I don't have a picture of that. It's with somebody else. When she finally got out of the sand, she went to 'bathe' in the sea! It was like, pretty disgusting cause there was a whole clump of seaweed and rubbish floating on the water. Poor sea.): Anyway, so she swam here and there and a lot of unglam photos were taken!

Then we played at the beach for some time more, and it got a little bored, and we decided to go roller blading. Then Hazirah came! We got drinks (ooh i love carrot juice!!) and went to rent the roller blades, which took us around half an hour!! So sorry the position that I took the photo from was like in front of Hazirah so sorry!!! Roller blading was okay to me, I had fun walking on the grass with them haha!! We took group photos but they are not with me too. If only there were more people!! Okay gotta go now. This is the first time I have posted this long hahaha.

Hey.
I'm here to comfort everyone. Or at least those who are still feeling dampened from just now (like me).
I personally put quite a lot of thought into what they said to us. Even though it made us feel bad and sad, don't you think what they said were the truth? It's a fact that we could have handled the event (as a whole) better, as there are some things which could be easily done by us.
However I know that things like cooperation is a mutual thing. We need the Brownies to cooperate with us and 'give us respect' too so that we can carry out the activity smoothly. I just heard from some people that certain Brownies were noisy and took a long time to settle down and all.
But don't you think that we could have been a bit more... mature? Yeah, I know that their thinking is super mature and all, and we should sort of do some 'tuning' to our level of maturity... I don't know... But that's what I feel.
And I also have this thought that whenever we're left in charge of an activity, it doesn't turn out all that right. I don't want to mention what happened the other time... It's like, during our debrief, we always get much more negative than positive comments. Why is that so? It's annoying right? We put in effort to make the event a success, yet most of the time we still do it wrong. Ok, not say wrong, but not up to expectation.
This was our second time. Second time, and not so good yet. I really hope that we can do much better the next time we're being given a task like this. They have already stepped down. We shouldn't be needing their help anymore. We can stand on our own two feet, can't we?
Come on Sec 2s, you know that we can do it! Encourage each other along the way yea? ;)
Nevertheless, thank you to the 4 I/Cs for this event. You guys did your best! Deseree, Claudia, Si Min and Louisa. Well done! :D
